They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them.
The irony is, the only place they ever needed to search, was within. "

FAQ and Answers
Do you believe you are living your life to your fullest potential?
If not, then yes, this retreat IS for you.
The Journeying Retreat is a healing journey.
– A healing of whatever it is you feel has been holding you back from being who you want to be
– A healing of emotional issues.
(Which can include: lack of self worth, resentment, deep seated anger, pain of rejection, abuse of any kind, grief, depression, etc.)
This retreat is a very private journey; there is no group sharing.
The six day Journey:
We gather as a group twice a day.
This takes the form of:
A focus session in the morning
About the subject of the day (usually about an hour). This is where a member of our team will speak on the subject of the day and team members may share some of their personal experiences.
An evening session
Which can consist of a short meditation/story/ poem or reflection.
As the healing process is a journey you will experience it in stages. And this is where the companioning session comes in:
To help and guide you through these stages, you will have the opportunity to spend up to 40 minutes a day, 1-on-1, with a member of the team who will be assigned to you for the duration of the retreat.
This time is the “Non-silence” part of the retreat, so you will have the opportunity to ask your questions and mention any thoughts or concerns that may have arisen from your writing and the previous day’s handout.
You will be guided through the various stages of the retreat in a completely non-judgmental, confidential and safe space, all the while being reassured that what you are feeling is understood and quite normal.
The companioning session takes place each morning before the Focus Session.
While you do follow a set program each day, and much of your time is taken up in reflection and writing , there is also ample time for relaxation;
To enjoy some of the walks nearby or time on the beach.
This retreat is about you –
And for some people it is the first time they have ever taken time out
– just for themselves.
And you will come to realize that You Are Worth It.
The silence is valued so highly because it allows you to hear the wisdom of your own heart, and therefore come in touch with who you really are.
The silence keeps you focused on your story and is an integral part of your healing journey.
Some people think that the silence is a strange thing – until they begin to experience it.
Many people come thinking that they won’t be able to do the silence.
Only to find that they love it; that it is not difficult at all.
Particularly as they start to realize that the silence is taking them on the journey to their healing.
