We gather as a group twice a day.
This takes the form of:
A focus session in the morning – usually about an hour.
This is where a member of our team will speak on the topic of the day and team members may share some of their personal experiences. The session also includes music and readings. At the end of the focus session you are given your handout on the next topic.
An evening session
This can consist of music/a short meditation/story/ poem or reflection.

As the healing process is a journey you will experience it in stages. And this is where the companioning session comes in:
To help and guide you through these stages, you will have the opportunity to spend up to 40 minutes a day, 1-on-1, with a member of the team who will be assigned to you for the duration of the retreat.
This time is the “Non-silence” part of the retreat, so you will have the opportunity to ask your questions and mention any thoughts or concerns that may have arisen from your writing and the previous day’s handout.
You will be guided through the various stages of the retreat in a completely non-judgmental, confidential and safe space, all the while being reassured that what you are feeling is understood and quite normal.
The companioning session takes place each morning before the Focus Session.

Free Time
While you do follow a set program each day, and much of your time is taken up in reflection and writing , there is also ample time for relaxation;
to enjoy some of the walks nearby or time on the beach.
This retreat is about you –
And for some people it is the first time they have ever taken time out
– just for themselves.
And you will come to realize that You Are Worth It.
